The Transit Museum is a couple miles away, which includes a gift shop. Bathrooms are a ways to walk in a separate building, but you can pull out of the parking lot, turn right, then another right into the next open lot and pull up close. Nice sized paved parking lot, which included paved sidewalks throughout the park, including to the bathrooms. There was also a sandy volleyball area, a basketball hoop, and a huge amount of grass to run around in. Many slides, and a rocket zipline (was hard to push as it needed greasing), etc.

This included baby swings, regular swings, and a nice sized playground. We went to eat at the picnic shelter, then the kids played at the playground. Afterwards, we were given a hot dog, chips, and a cup of lemonade.

Every other couple windows open, and gave a nice breeze, even at the slow speed and hot weather. Seats were actually pretty comfy considering how old this train is. It was fun to finally be on the other side of being at a RR crossing lol. It wasn't the most scenic ride, but we saw the Air Force Base, and I saw many veggie gardens in the backyards we passed. Our first real train ride ever was here! Very organized and wasn't super crowded, as most business is apparently towards the end of the season. Right now, the only way you know an activity is closed for a private party is a sign right in front of the activity. I think they should notify customers at the purchase counter what is closed for parties and for how long. Luckily it was only 1 thing, but if many things were privately reserved, some people might chose to not purchase a wrist band. We did not get to try the bowling at all because of this. If there are a number of private parties here, you could end up paying for a wristband but not be able to make it cost-effective if you can't ride or play many things due to private parties having them booked for a number of hours. Wish they would enforce this better or really emphasize that faster groups should be able to move ahead.

This slows things down significantly and really backs things up. They ask for the mini-golf that no more than 4 play in a group, but there were a few groups ahead of us that had 6-8 people in them and they were all playing. I can really only think of 2 negatives: 1. Prices for food and drinks weren't bad for an amusement park, and there is something for everyone here. Some of the lines were a little on the longer side, but there were a number of private events going on since we were there on a Saturday. This was great as each ride costs a certain amount of money and we definitely made up the cost of the wristband with being there most of the day. So glad we did! They actually let us exchange the Groupon for ride wristbands for my boys and pay the difference. After reading the terms of the Groupon and visiting the site, we decided to purchase the Groupon and take a chance. We never would have visited if we hand't seen a Groupon.
